I arrived to find only one Brahminy Kite Chick left in the nest. The poor thing was looking lost and lonely, exercising & eating alone in the nest. It then took to sunning its wings, perhaps in an attempt to aid its imminent fledging.
One of the fledglings returned to join it for a while, but flew off shortly thereafter.
Nicknamed Singapore's Bald Eagle, the Brahminy Kite is a medium sized raptor of about 45-50cm.
Brahminy Kites are common residents of Singapore.
