A second meeting with this species, as I had already come across this species in Vietnam.
Named for the grey streaking behind its ear, it is otherwise a dull brown coloured bulbul.
Its natural habitat includes tropical to subtropical moist lowland open forests and forest edges. It is common throughout its range, as it has adapted to living in parks & gardens of inhabited land. In fact, I had met this species in the outskirts of a town hotel in which I was staying.
Streak-eared Bulbuls are found in southern Indochina, Thailand and northern to central Malay peninsula.
