While on a road trip through the gold country of California, I happened upon the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad in Fish Camp. Upon arrival, I discovered that I had just missed the only steam run of the day. I stuck around until the train returned and got this brief footage. The locomotive, a 70-ton Shay built in 1928 by the Lima Locomotive Works, worked most of its life for the Westside Lumber Company in Tuolumne, CA.
