This video was shot over several weeks during the summer of 1999 when I was on a training assignment in Seattle. I had driven up from the Bay Area so I could have a car available to explore the countryside during my free time. Locations include Everett and Edmonds north of Seattle on BNSF's Scenic Subdivision, Sumner south of town (Seattle Subdivision), Palmer Junction east of Kent (Stampede Subdivision) and the Lake Whatcom Railway, a tourist attraction on an old Northern Pacific branch line.
