How to make some good Japanese Yakisoba Noodles. I fry them over medium low heat to make them golden and delicious! See description for recipe.
Ingredients:
11 ounces yakisoba noodles (320 grams)
1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
1 and 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
vegetable oil for the pan
4 or 5 slices of thin bacon in 3/4 inch pieces
1 Tablespoon oyster sauce or a bit more
a dash of salt and pepper
10 green onions in 1 inch pieces
Heat your nonstick pan over medium low heat.
Add 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil to your noodles and mix, then add your 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of soy sauce and mix.
Gently fry your noodles in your warm pan for 2 minutes.
Turn your noodles over and fry for 2 more minutes.
Remove noodles and fry bacon until fairly crisp.
Return noodles to pan with bacon, add your salt, pepper and oyster sauce.
Mix and fry for 2 minutes.
Add your green onions, turn off heat and fry for 2 minutes.
Serve!
I prefer Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce.
