If you watched my video last week I had some problems with the piece of Tamarind I was turning. Due to the spalting it was very weak in the middle and nearly split.

I cast it in resin using some sparkly pink pigment and got to turning it today.

The resin has gone through and held the wood together and seeped through where the spalting was spongy and created a really cool effect.

I hope you like what I have done with this piece.
