I have just been to London as part of a school trip and one of the attractions we went to see was Harry Potter World. It was such good fun that I decided to make this platter and design it using some of the things from Harry Potter.

I finished the back and sides of the platter with friction polish which really gave the wood a wonderful shine and used metalic and iridescent paints from Chestnut to design the logo, golden snitch, lightening bolt and wand.
