Having seen the amazing bauble kits that Emma - The Tiny Turner has made I really wanted to have a go at making one.

So this week at Wood Turning Club I used spalted beech to spindle turn the top and bottom to fit onto a bauble and then make it up. I used the Chestnut Buffing system to get a really nice shine on the finished wood. I really think that the spalting of the wood shines out when the lights are on. I cannot wait for Christmas so that I can put it on the tree!

The kits are really cool and all you need to do is add the wood and glue. You can get them from The Tiny Turner Etsy Shop - etsy.com/uk/shop/TheTinyTurner
