Cocobolo is a tropical hardwood of Central American trees

I have used small pieces of Cocobolo wood before in smaller projects but not a bigger blank like this, so I was not sure how it would turn out.

I enjoyed working with Cocobolo although when being turned it does have an interesting smell.

I used the buffing system to give the bowl a really nice finish after I had waxed it.
