I bought an hourglass from Ikea and thought it would be a cool idea to make a case to go round it. I used pieces of mahogany and created a top and bottom of the same sizes. Then made 3 spindles the same to put around the hourglass.

I created a stencil to work from so that I could make sure that all the shapes and sizes were the same.

I found it an interesting project and was really happy when I could finally put it together and everything fit together.
