I had a lovely piece of laburnum however there were quite a few cracks all the the way through so I was not sure how it would turn.
I manged to turn the laburnum wood into this pot with a lid that slots into, when I have made pots before the lid has slotted around the pot.
Once I turned the lid off I made a slot so that I could insert the lid back in the base and turn the outside of the pot and finish the lid off properly.
Despite the cracks I managed to keep the wood together and it turned out really nice.
