This weekend I have been having some fun with my Wood Turning. I have taken a piece of beech wood and turned it into a bowl.

I have then coated the outside with ebonising lacquer and using Jo Sonja iridescent paints and the string pull technique to decorate with layered colours to create an amazing end effect.

The inside of the bowl has then been turned and finished with Cut and Polish and Woodwax 22 to leave the natural look of the grain.

I hope you enjoy my twist on the string pull technique.
