For this project I have gone super thin with the edge of the bowl. I used a piece of Black Walnut wood and decided for a tall straight edge shape.

After sanding I used Cut and Polish then finished it with Microcrystalline Wax from Chestnut Products.

I found it quite a nice wood to turn.
