This week I have used a piece of conifer that was cut down from my Grandma's garden. The tree was actually my Grand Pa's tree so it was an extra special piece of wood to turn.

I decided I would like to make a barrel, cut in the middle and hollowed out. I used silver gilt cream to enhance the grain and finished it with lemon oil and wood wax 22.
