A couple of weeks ago, I asked you all whether you preferred resin blanks or resin and wood blanks for my next project. Well, I decided to make both! In this exciting 2-in-1 video, I create two unique bottle openers using blanks from Jake Thompson, made on our show "Saturday Morning Cartoons" at 10am Central Time.
Watch as I turn these pieces on the Harvey T60S wood lathe, using negative rake cutters from Easy Wood Tools for precise and smooth shaping. I finish the bottle openers with Yorkshire Grit abrasive paste (both original and microfine) to achieve a flawless, polished surface. All the hardware comes from Niles Bottle Stoppers, ensuring top-notch quality and functionality.
