In this video, I turn a small winged bowl from Anjan wood, showcasing its incredible grain and natural beauty. Using my Harvey T60S wood lathe and Easy Wood Tools carbide cutters, I carefully shape and refine the delicate wings. To bring out the rich tones and chatoyance of the wood, I finish it with Yorkshire Grit abrasive paste and Hampshire Sheen finishing wax.
This was a fun and slightly challenging project, but the results were totally worth it! Let me know in the comments what you think and if you'd try turning a winged bowl yourself.
