This year it was my birthday on parkrunday! It's always a special birthday when this happens, and I wanted to make the parkrun itself extra special. I had heard about £10 parkrun on the Bad Boy Running Podcast and followed Will at @10PoundParkrun over on Instagram. I loved his idea and he generally seems like a pretty good guy, not to mention a pretty good runner too. I decided to £10 parkrun for my birthday.

I will release a separate video about the parkrun itself. This video is about the fun we had doing £10 parkrun and the charity shops we visited and the outfits we picked for each other. Not my usual running content but I love Will's idea and wanted to help spread the word in case anyone else fancies joining in and helping raise money for charity by having a laugh with some friends, or picking an outfit solo, to run in at parkrun. Ten pound gear and a good idea!
