We didn't want to run parkrun in Finland on Ascension Day and then fly straight home, we wanted to make a trip of it. We got the overnight ferry from Helsinki to Stockholm with the thought of running Haga parkrun which was the first parkrun in Sweden!

The ferry was a really cool experience and I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of making this journey!

Huge thanks to Claire and her team for being so welcoming and making our Swedish parkrun so wonderful. It was really special to visit the birthplace of parkrun Sweden.
