It was great to get out for a parkrun on International parkrun Day. The date when we celebrate the very first parkrun taking place in Bushy Park, London. Bushy parkrun began 19 years ago and celebrates its birthday on the first Saturday in October. It was also Woodhouse Moor parkrun's 16th birthday. I had an amazing morning celebrating Woodhouse Moor parkrun's birthday before dashing off to get Poppy to attend a secondary school open day. If only things weren't arranged for Saturday mornings! Saturday mornings should be reserved for parkrun!
