Phnom Penh has a lot of great deals when it comes to buying and renting properties. If you're moving to Cambodia, if you're retiring in Cambodia, you should check this place out! I'm visiting The Palms today. It's located in the Koh Norea area, just off of National Highway 1. It's a pretty short drive to downtown Phnom Penh (about 15 min to Independence Monument), and yet they are offering huge units starting at $1000 a month, or $300,000 to buy. We're talking 5 floors (don't worry each unit has its own elevator), 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a porch, a terrace, a parking space just outside your door. Plus there's the amenities. They have 4 pools, a cinema, a gym, BBQ area, ping pong table, even a boat dock - and yes you can own a boat and park it there to have quick access to the Mekong River.
