In order to cut through the noise and make videos that people will watch, relate to, and ultimately be impacted by, you need to understand your viewers' preferences.
Here are some identifiers to consider.

Age - Different generations have different preferences both where and what. Boomers like family scenes broadcast on TV, millennials like lightheart content on Facebook or Instagram.

In the pews or not - A group that’s attending regularly will react to liturgical scenes. But people only loosely connected, if at all, need to be reached on a more basic human level.

Traditional or progressive - It’s a reality that some people will get offended if you show a drum set in church, and others will tune out if you show someone wearing a chapel veil. Even Jesus took care not to offend the temple tax collectors.

Education, career, or background - Different educational groups, as well careers, will develop different communication preferences. Make sure you’re speaking a language they understand.

Write down key identifiers for your audience, and your content will cut through the noise to reach their hearts.
