European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Russian intimidation will not work as Europe and NATO stand united in support of Ukraine.
Speaking alongside NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels, von der Leyen said her meeting with the NATO chief sends a clear signal: Europe and NATO are united.
She warned that Europe will not simply maintain pressure on Russia — it will increase it.
Von der Leyen said the pressure will continue until Russia stops bombing and killing innocent children, women and men in Ukraine.
Her statement was a direct answer to Moscow’s attempt to frighten Europe away from supporting Kyiv.
