Despite not having a lot of variations on the album, Victor's theme does a great job at capturing the sadness of Victor's story. It's a simple three-note piano motif, but it's one of the few wholly pure and genuine emotional themes in the score, and reflects his plight very well. But as Victor plunges deeper into this world, the horror tones of the rest of the score come in to take hold of his theme, suffocating him much in the same way Oz, and this life he chose, do to him.
