The Last Knight was some shit huh? Regardless, Jablonsky created a very interesting main theme for the film that permeates throughout the rest of the score. Given the film's unusual fascination on Arthurian legends and knights, the score has a regal, medieval tone to it's orchestration and thematic identity. The main reoccurring melody throughout the score is an ascending three note ostinato performed on strings such as the cello or viola, though the organ and choir get their Other melodies and motifs such as Sacrifice's three note motif and Purity of Heart's four note motif help add to the theme's emotional resonance and ancient tone. It's a theme that fits the tone and aesthetic of the film, and stands out from the rest of the Transformers soundtracks in terms of it's solemnity and reservation.
