With the Stoors, Bear decided not to take the easy way out and reprise the Harfoots theme. Instead, he created a whole new theme for the Stoors that better fits their culture and environment. Their A theme is played on a hammered dulcimer, giving a perfect desert flare whilst still portraying the Stoors as witty yet wise. They contain all of the other instruments of the Harfoot themes, but their twisted to better suit Rhûn and that desert locale. Their B theme, usually played on whistles and fiddle, conveys the warmth and love that the Harfoots come to represent in the show. While the theme isn't in the show a whole lot due to their limited appearances, I feel Bear created a very striking, memorable, and frankly lovely theme that adds another fresh wrinkle into the Harfoot musical soundscape.
