NYPD officers work the scene after a man who was originally unidentified was found severely decomposed inside of 18 Housman Avenue within the confines of the 121 precinct in Staten Island, New York, United States on July 9, 2026. Wednesday afternoon at approximately 12:05 PM NYPD officers discovered the man unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. NYPD, Medical Examiner officials and the NYPD Crime Scene Unit are investigating.
