A crash at Westheimer and Kirkwood around 2 a.m. left one person dead after a black sedan rear-ended a vehicle that was turning, according to HPD Lt. Ali. Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor for the sedan’s driver, and the DWI unit is continuing the investigation at the hospital.
