A decomposed body was discovered Monday evening, August 10, 2026, near North Eldridge Parkway in Houston. At approximately 6:10 p.m., a bicyclist called 911 after finding the remains in the area of 1400 N. Eldridge Parkway, near the Bayou Rifles–Addicks Range. Due to the condition of the body, investigators were unable to immediately determine the person's age or gender. The Houston Police Department is investigating the case.
