At 5:13 PM EDT on August 1, 2020; a tornado warning was issued by NWS Wilmington for Preble County and West Central Montgomery County until 5:45 PM due to a storm with visible rotation on radar. As such, the sirens on the southern zone in Montgomery County were activated; in this video you can hear sirens from the City of Centerville and Washington Township; which are tied into the county-wide siren system. I was in the City of Kettering at the time, but they did not activate their sirens there, presumably because the city was not in the warning polygon. Still, I got this ambience out of it, so I decided to upload it. This is the first Tornado Warning for Montgomery County I believe since Memorial Day 2019. This storm did not produce a tornado touchdown. Sirens were activated twice; I caught the second activation here at around 5:30. Enjoy.
