Amlodipine is a medication used to reduce blood pressure and can be used in the treatment of Chronic Stable Angina. It acts to reduce blood pressure by inhibition of calcium channels, which can then lead to vasodilation. However, this mechanism of action can cause particular skin issues, which we discuss in this lesson.
