I had a volunteering commitment on a Saturday but luckily Middleton Woods parkrun was close enough to fit in a parkrun beforehand. We had an awesome run, quick hot chocolate in the café, I dashed off for my volunteering with Run Leeds, and then I dusted the cobwebs off Ben's bike and took it out for a spin with my girl.

This bike has raced all around the word and won European titles and World Number 2... unfortunately it now has me riding it so it's former glory is behind it but I must say it was pretty special to take Ben's princess out on the trails. Poppy absolutely loved it!

An awesome day that I was really special and I loved running and cycling with Poppy. Any lovers of cycling should get a visit to Middleton Woods parkrun in their diaries because it is awesome!

Huge thanks to the team at Middleton Woods and to Doris for looking after Poppy while I volunteered.
