ANNE WINTERS, who came into this season of THE ORVILLE: NEW HORIZONS as the spitfire Ensign Charly Burke, joins us for an interview to talk about what it was like making an immediate impact on the show, and the love/hate relationship fans had with Burke.
The Orville had to deal with a global pandemic, an acquisition by Disney and a nearly three year hiatus before being picked up by the new streaming service, and entering the 'New Horizon', but from what we've seen from this entire season, it was been well worth the wait.
During the interview, Anne discusses how amazing the fans have been this season, the amount of attention Burke got from the fanbase, the character's death, what she would have liked to have done with the character, and the possibility of Burke coming back in a universe where anything is possible.
Set 400 years in the future, “The Orville: New Horizons” finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continuing their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
