Comedian, Creator, Writer and Singer SETH MACFARLANE (The Orville, Family Guy, American Dad) in this interview, discusses his writing process, why it was time to bring a Ted prequel to the small screen, why he loves working with the actors he works with, and the influences on the show.
#Ted is an upcoming American comedy television series created by #SethMacFarlane for Peacock. The third instalment in the Ted franchise, it serves as a prequel to the feature films, with MacFarlane reprising his role as the voice of the titular character.
In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
TED stars Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, Alanna Ubach as Susan Bennett, Scott Grimes as Matty Bennett, Max Burkholder as John Bennett and Giorgia Whigham as Blaire.
MacFarlane is no stranger to creating insanely funny and popular projects, but he is almost always involved in one of the lead roles as well. MacFarlane once again, just like the two previous films that came before, lends his voice to the titular Teddy bear, as well as being he creator and one of the head writers.
All episodes of TED are now streaming on PEACOCK.
