90s icon ETHAN EMBRY and breakout star LI JUN LI sit down for an interview to discuss their new indie horror film, ALMA & THE WOLF. The film brings together Embry, known for his lighthearted gen X fare like CAN'T HARDLY WAIT and EMPIRE RECORDS with the new queen of cinema, Lili, who has recently worked with Damian Chazelle on BABYLON, and Ryan Coogler on SINNERS.
#Almaandthewolf is set on the Oregon coast, where troubled police officer Ren Accord (Embry) investigates a mysterious wolf attack. The wold attacked his former friend from highschool Alma (Li Jun Li) and creates chaos in the small town. Matters escalate when his estranged son vanishes during the case.
The film stars Ethan Embry, Li Jun Li, Jeremie Harris, Lukas Jann, Kevin Allison, Mather Zickel, Beth Malone, Alexandra Doke, and Dana Millican.
Embry plays Ren Accord, an officer who has had his share of problems, including alcoholism who is trying to get his family life together, making peace with his son, and his love life with the rediscovered kinship with Alma.
Alma, too, has a myriad of problems, but the two seem to find each other at their most dyer moment in life, and their similar journey brings them together in this time of horror and chaos.
During the #interview, Embry discusses his life as a father and how that influences his acting, his love of music in film, especially his 90s classics, and Li Jun Li's seeming affinity for horror related projects like the vampire latent SINNERS, and the werewolf world of ALMA AND THE WOLF.
