#happyface is a drama centered on Melissa Moore (Ashford) the daughter of the real-life "Happy Face Killer" Keith Jesperson (Dennis Quaid), who murdered at least eight women. The series follows Melissa's efforts to keep her past a secret while exploring the impact of her father's crimes. The show was adapted from the 2018 podcast 'Happy Face' by Melissa Moore, and her 2009 autobiography 'Shattered Silence', co-written with M. Bridget Cook. The series stars Annaleigh Ashford, James Wolk, Tamera Tomakili, Khiyla Aynne, Benjamin Mackey, and Dennis Quaid.
