From South-West Germany we travelled to Copenhagen to run Denmark's Extra Day parkrun. We chose Faelledparken parkrun as we had visited the other two more central parkruns in Copenhagen before (one for last year's extra day and the other for a freedom run).

There was a real parkrun tourist buzz and it was great to see so many familiar faces, as well as running club tops from Leeds! Congratulations to FC Copenhagen on their League Win... there was certainly a big party to celebrate! Huge thanks to the super friendly team for a brilliant run. We loved the playground at the start/finish point and we loved the water fountain!

From here we headed to Central Station to catch the train to Gothenburg for Sweden's extra day parkrun the following day. It makes for an intense few days but the community spirit and exploring new places make it totally worth it!
