The Temple Newsam Ten is often the first race of the year for me. A very muddy, off-road race with several very big puddles, including the infamous Puddle of Doom!

I was suffering the effects of having just had covid for the first time. I guess I was lucky to have only just had it for the first time. My heart rate was all over the place during this race... it felt very strange! Luckily it's now back to normal, I didn't enjoy second guessing myself while I was running though!

I am so super grateful for all of the fantastic photographers out there on course. Especially Andrew Swales and John Robson whose photos I have included in this video.
