Week 7 of our parkrun tour of Ireland took us to the Dingle Peninsula and to Inch Beach parkrun. The rain continued but we did have our first dry day of the trip... followed by the second named storm of our trip... Storm Betty!

We sheltered from storm Betty at Annascaul Lake which was beautiful but not very sheltered!
The highlights of the Dingle Peninsula (not including Inch Beach parkrun!) included driving the Conor Pass - a beautiful mountain pass which is extremely narrow in places, but with breathtaking views. I also loved running up Ballydavid Head, and if we'd have been here longer then there are some gorgeous mountain walks that I'd have loved to have explored.
Inch Beach parkrun was the first beach parkrun in the Republic of Ireland and is definitely worth a visit. However if you park on the beach then please keep an eye on tide times, unlike this guy:

Inch Beach parkrun has everything you could need. Cafe, toilets and plenty of parking cover the basics but also an incredible team, a stunning beach setting, and a surface that is surprisingly quick to run on! This parkrun is worth a visit for sure!
