The slow, careful process of turning the precious Adirondack Spruce into a finished new top for the 12 string. To an accomplished luthier, this may not be such a big deal, but to the rank amateur who's doing this for the second time in 50 years, it's ever so slightly daunting. I think I'm gaining on it.
