If you’re testing a new gel, don’t change everything at once.
In this clip, I was coaching a client through using Jessicurl for the first time. She usually uses Ouidad, which has more hold. So instead of adjusting her water content too, I told her to keep it consistent—otherwise, she wouldn’t know if it was the gel or the water causing different results.
💡 More water = less hold.
💡 Softer gels like Jessicurl & Ouidad often need more product to form a cast.
💡 Changing too many things at once makes it impossible to know what’s working.
