I’m on an amplifier biasing and adjustment kick these days. I found that adjusting things to specification is improving sound, and reducing distortion.
Here’s the Technics SA-1010, where in general has been working well, but I don’t feel like it packs the punch it should being 120WPC, discrete transistors, and a really large power supply.
My video editing and technique is a little casual, but I’m following the instructions, and can confirm that the unit sounds significantly better at after the adjustments.
