Time to get the Realistic STA-180 in use for a good performance. 60WPC. Has Hitachi imprints on the circuit boards.
Really nice unit, unique with dual gyroscope AM/FM tuners.
My favorite feature is that the dial pointer turns to red when the FM station is in stereo. Little features like that stand out and make this special.
Some will think this is a very plain looking unit but to me it’s extremely ultra modern for 1972.
I like all the buttons and levers. Picked this up a couple years ago on FB Marketplace with a slow and uncertain seller - and it arrived eventually - and I know it’s low hours. However, I did replace all the bulbs and it’s been re-biased. Performs exceptionally well with my Pioneer HPM 100’s.
