Mega Man X3 is the third game in the Mega Man X series, and the last one to be released on the SNES.
In this collaborative work, Hetfield90, nrg_zam & GlitchMan speed through the game very rapidly, collecting all heart tanks, subtanks, Ride Armor modules, upgrades and finally the Golden Armor.
It is a 34.57 improvement over the previous run by Hetfield90, thanks to a number of new glitches, explained in the authors' comments.

In VVVVVV, the player controls Captain Viridian, who is lost in an alternate dimension, in search of the missing members of the spaceships crew. Instead of jumping, the player is able to control the direction of gravity, allowing Captain Viridian to flip between the floors and ceilings of the environment. The graphical style of the game is heavily influenced by the Commodore 64.
In the spirit of the retro games secret hunt, 20 aptly named Shiny Trinkets are hidden throughout the game. The author makes sure to collect all of them in his movie.
Additionally, this TAS is completed on the games no-death mode, which removes all the cutscenes and dialogues, as well as allows collecting a specific Trinket without having to die. Dying once on this mode prompts an instant game over, making it an especially brutal challenge in unassisted conditions. As this naturally prohibits the skips and glitches that abuse forcible deaths, it allows the audience to see the game in its entirety and, indeed, enjoy its level design and excellent chiptune-style soundtrack.

This is a TAS Comparison made between the new TAS and the previous record that was held by compterbird. This comparison only focuses on stages, so there are other small comparisons in the Resistance Base and cutscenes but those should be minor most of the time. Take into consideration that the old TAS was made in VisualBoyAdvance and the new one in BizHawk which implements different emulation cores, this results in very small differences in lag frames differences and cutscenes in particular.
The format is the following:
On each screen, on the top you will see the timer both in time and frames (it resets in every stage). Below the TAS authors. In the middle you get the difference per section and in total (left vs right). In each section (determined by me) whoever gets first will pause until the other one catchs up so most of the time they are in sync for a better viewing, at this point is when the difference in time are calculated. Audio is also split up, on your left speaker/headphone you will hear the left screen and vice-versa.

Metal Slug X (2001) is a remixed version of Metal Slug 2, the second installment of an immensely popular runngun series released on the Neo Geo MVS. The games are notable for incredibly detailed pixel graphics, fluid animation, and good humor; but the real key to their longevity is, of course, their high difficulty as far as survival goes.
This is x2poets 16.42 seconds improvement over the previous movie, despite now using the hardest difficulty setting. One notable improvement is the use of both players, compared to one in the obsoleted run.

Unlike the other run of this game, this run doesnt use mission skips, which means that the author had to beat every mission as fast as possible.
