Recently I archived the game Tales Beyond The Tomb The Farm's Secret and today we showcase the third episode in the series in the form of The Last Vigil. The premise of these episodes is that it bases the people on those actually involved with several cases but then present you with fictional scenarios that have elements of truth woven into them.
But take that with a grain of salt, because this game apparently takes place in the 60's and immediately it shows us having a mobile phone so that was a bit strange. If you can look past that, it actually offers a pretty entertaining game where we play a guy who works the nightshift at a graveyard. As we make our rounds we notice strange hippies that seem to hang around and place candles everywhere.
A few of the scares were pretty effective while others were quite predictable. I wish there were a few more locations you get to explore as most of the game is centered around the graveyard. I was also surprised to find out who this episode was actually based on as the actual people are quite famous or maybe notorious is a better word for describing them.
