The Holiday Season is finally upon us and that means we will be getting various Christmas themed horror games. I always love these games as they bring me into a festive mood combined with a genre that I love very much. Holiday Story is a short, but sweet story about a guy who goes into a store to buy a toy set for his kid.
The store owner is being a bit weird and we can see strange things move around in the corner of our eyes. Some of the toys look very creepy and move when we are not looking. The game starts out a bit slow, but picks up the pace and has some pretty effective jumpscares in between some very predictable ones. The Christmas atmosphere is great with lots of decoration and Christmas lights everywhere.
The game is nothing special, but a nice Christmas treat for those who want to chill for an hour with a nice cup of hot chocolate.
