Anyone know this one? StarTropics is an NES game that plays a bit like the original Legend of Zelda although it has its own style to it. You have to talk to the townsfolk to get a understanding of what's going on and you have to fight many monsters and bosses using your Yo-Yo and other special weapons that you acquire in the dungeons. I'd say this game is a hidden gem and I can recommend giving it a shot! The music is phenomenal and I find it funny how for a lot of songs in the game, it uses this particular bass line riff over and over again (although different chord progressions) and it really gives the game a distinct vibe and feel because of it! I didn't feel like playing that too much in this medley though so I picked some of the more minor tracks in the game as well to really show off the prowess of this soundtrack. The Dungeon music is the one you'll hear the most in the game probably and I gotta say, super underrated track and super catchy!! I loved playing that one in particular and songs like the Boss Battle or In the Belly of the Whale got really metal which I always enjoy!
