I finally decided to play a song from Yoshi's Story! Alpina Blue is one of the levels from the game and it's in a winter setting. Yoshi's Story, like some other games, does this thing where it rearranges the main theme into different settings so it automatically is one of those tunes that you'll never forget because you hear it constantly throughout the game haha. Definitely not a bad thing in this case though! The game itself is kind of a weird one for Yoshi standards, especially coming from the amazing SNES game, but it's still a fun game to me and I'm glad I finally decided to play a song from it! I originally had the idea to make a medley out of this game but that's likely not gonna happen so I'm at least happy I have some Yoshi's Story representation under my belt now. As you may have noticed, I'm not playing any bass or rhythm guitar on this one. Because the original song doesn't have a bassline, I thought it could've been interesting to make a cover without any bass or rhythm guitar but still with some heavy drums coming in at some point. Up until this point, I've never done anything like this so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to try it out and I quite like it haha!
