Now here's a legendary track from a legendary game! I actually have never played Castlevania Symphony of the Night to this day but I really want to some day when I get the chance because I know about its legendary status in the gaming industry! You have to keep in mind that I'm primarily a Nintendo guy and growing up, I never made it past having the Playstation 1 with games like Crash Bandicoot (which is a classic at least) and a couple of racing and sport games so a lot of those classic games from that era, I just didn't have. Maybe if they release it for the Nintendo Switch 2 someday, I'll be able to experience it myself! Lost Painting is a song that I've known about for a long time now and I always thought it was a beautiful song. I love the melodies and how reverby it is, it really is a memorable track because of it! Because the original is so reverby, I wanted to try to replicate that by adding a ton of reverb to the drums, some of the guitars and the bass and I'm quite happy with the end result! The original also uses a ton of tempo changes throughout the song so I wanted to try to replicate that as well. I always have a bit of trouble trying to land on the down beat in a recording setting because of it but again, I'm happy with that result as well! I know this game is legendary among the gaming community so I hope my version here will do the original justice!
