With Corneria saved from Andross's army, the Star Fox team take the Easy Path, which means going through Meteo, an asteroid field that was once a planet. The next planet is Fichina, an ice planet where they come across a rival team called Star Wolf, who were hired by Andross to stop the Star Fox team.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Next planet is Meteo, which is one of my favourite music in this game, Meteo is an asteroid field said to be protecting Corneria, and you do get some hits for shooting the rocks at the start of the course. You get some upgrades if you fly through asteroid rings, and then some enemies show up when you find that it is a trap, Fox is the one that tells the team that it is a trap, in the original game, it was Peppy that warns you that it is a trap. When there are several enemies grouped together, you can use bombs to defeat them, a good way to score enough hits for the medal, and for Meteo, you need to have 200 hits for the medal.
For other enemies, there are these Moras, which are these snake enemies, shoot their heads to beat them. Then across the tunnel and through some large asteroids, where Peppy tells you to use the brakes and the boost to get through them. Then ROB64 gives us a Supply Container, and Peppy is under attack by Venom Space Fighters. Then we come across some enemies, and you can lock on to them with charged shots, and when you approach the next tunnel, some lasers come, which are formed by some enemies.
Then we find some Rock Gunners, which Falco will shoot down one of them, and then Slippy is under attack by Flip Bots, which can be beaten easily with bombs. Then across the checkpoint, you will find some strange energy which your Arwing can absorb when you go through them, and there are seven of them, and it takes you through a Warp Zone, where you get a good amount of bombs and items from, and this is the best way to get 200 hits from the medal. Taking the Warp Zone brings you to Katina, and I do like how the team have dialogue, where Falco talks about his old gang, and Slippy comments on Fox missing classes in the academy.
For the normal route, we take on the Meteo Crusher, and to beat him, you have to shoot the yellow cores, the shield absorbs the laser and fires it back at you. Once the shield is gone, it fires lasers in an X-formation, the center core is its weak point. Then once that is done, the Meteo Crusher pilot admits defeat, and Falco tells you to not fall for it, and for the final phase, shoot the new weapons while avoiding the Meteo Crusher's projectile blasts, and that is the Meteo Crusher defeated.
The next planet to visit is Fichina, which I have included in this video as it is really short. Fichina was called Fortuna in the original Nintendo 64 game, but it uses the correct name as Fortuna is a completely different planet in other Star Fox games.
The objective is to protect the base, it takes place in All-Range Mode, and you need to score 50 hits if you want the medal. After a set amount of time, ROB64 alerts you that a bomb has been planted in the base, and then Star Wolf arrive, the rivals of Star Fox and were hired by Andross to eliminate them.
The team is led by Wolf O'Donnell, who was once the rival to James McCloud, which could be why Fox is his main target, each member of Star Wolf has a set target. The other members are Leon Powalski, a very skilled pilot, and he goes after Falco, and is said to be the most dangerous out of Star Wolf. Pigma Dengar, who was once part of the original Star Fox team alongside James and Peppy until he betrayed the team, he is Star Wolf's mechanic, as their ship, the Wolfen, was likely inspired by the Arwing, and his target is Peppy. Andrew Oikonny, the nephew of Andross who likes to target the weakest of opponents, so he goes after Slippy.
When Star Wolf show up, you are put on a timer, when there is one minute left, ROB64 will count down, and when it hits zero, the base blows up, and the remaining Star Wolf members will taunt Star Fox, telling them they have won the battle.
If you fail to stop Star Wolf, Fox doesn't take the loss well, and General Pepper suggests that the Star Fox check out Sector X as the enemy there is planning to unleash their secret weapon.
If you have beaten Star Wolf, Fox shuts down the bomb in the base and the team can then go to Solar, but we'll see where we go next time. As for the voices for the Star Wolf team, I like Wolf's new voice, even though his "Can't let you do that, Star Fox." line is one of the most well known lines in the game, at least it is a good line in this game as well. I am not a fan of Leon's, I did read that his voice is based on his voice in Star Fox Assault, I prefer his voice in 64. Pigma's is all right, but I preferred his higher pitched voice in 64, and Andrew's is better than in the original.
