I did attempt this battle before, but it went over very quickly, before the 8 minutes had even passed, so I decided to do this battle again. The lead from the previous attempt was Omanyte, while I lead with Donphan, but this time, Spearow is the lead Pokémon. I decided to use Sandstorm to hold off the battle for a bit before switching into Golem to fight Spearow, and after that, if the CPU sends in Omanyte, I can switch into Sunflora and use Razor Leaf to fight it, or if it is Sandslash, then Azumarill can come in and use Waterfall, and if Azumarill goes down, then Sunflora can finish it with Razor Leaf.
Then for Fearow, I can make the switch to Golem, as it resists all of Fearow's attacks and it goes down to about two hits from Rock Throw. Meowth can switch in against Haunter and take it out with Shadow Ball, Meowth does have higher Speed than Haunter, and it is the only Pokémon that I need to use Meowth for, even if Haunter does use Destiny Bond, I can have Meowth go down to that, as some of the CPU team have high Defense or resist Normal-type moves, with the exception of the Flying-types, but that is where I have Golem for them.
Quilava can make easy work of Forretress with Fire Blast, and if Omanyte comes in, I can let Quilava faint and then finish it with Sunflora's Razor Leaf or Donphan's Earthquake. Donphan can take out Omanyte in one hit, but it cannot switch in against Omanyte, as Surf can inflict massive damage to it, as Donphan does not have the best Special Defense to take a hit from Water-type moves.
